do I need Walkie Talkies? Good
question. You
need a walkie talkie because the next time you find your self at a Festival and
you can't use your Mobile Phone to contact your friends because everyone is trying
to text their mates to meet them at the ferris wheel, and the network has gone
to pot. You can simply give your mate a call on their walkie talkie and hey presto,
you are talking for as long as you like, with NO CALL CHARGES. These
things are perfect for our lifestyle as we do like to chat and what better way,
then this? Plus you get to meet lots of other interesting folks who have walkie
talkies on the same frequency. Oh
yes, its not just you out there. Anyone with one of these babies can chat away
with complete strangers.(Like a chat room really, only with people who get out
more ;) This
is a good thing as you can find out all kinds of interesting gossip, whos playing
where, whats on, when, how to get in over the fence etc... We
met so many people at Glastonbury who had them it was amazing. Thats why we have
them, because they are great fun and work a treat. (I
let the missus run round with one and when I need a coffee bringing to me, I just
give her a call and she can tell me to "Sod off" from as far away as
the high street :) Blimey,
